Notable as the first cinematic interpretation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula\, its combination of expressionistic acting and unforgettable images render it just as powerful and unsettling today as when it first thrilled cinema goers 100 years ago.Chris Green’s new score was commissioned by English Heritage for a live outdoor screening of the film at Dracula’s spiritual home of Whitby Abbey. The music is a haunting blend of electronic and acoustic instruments performed live by the composer and\, combined with FW Murnau’s iconic images\, makes for a genuinely remarkable and unique cinematic experience.

Phenomenal standard of acting… Exquisite harmonies…the music perfectly pitched for the piece…. One of the best pieces of theatre I’ve ever seen!

Our journey brimming with nature\, history\, inspiring art and design\, tales of sewerage and ceaseless human intervention is illustrated by a beautiful 1.7m long textile ribbon map made by the artist Vicky Roden. \n\n\n\nBeautifully written\, engagingly performed\, witty and educational. \n\n\n\nThis simple piece of documentary storytelling is a high quality treat. \n\n\n\nStan’s Cafe have been making and touring original theatre from their base in Birmingham for over 50 years. Their playful\, inventive performances have toured the world. \n\n\n\nSupported using public funding by Arts Council England
